It is expected that Minnesota’s attorney general, to announce today being Wednesday whether more charges will be filed in the police killing of George Floyd, according to a report.
AG Keith Ellison has reached a decision regarding additional charges, the AG’s Office has finished its initial investigation of Floyd’s death. Two law enforcement officials briefed and told CNN.
The officials didn’t say what had been decided
Former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin was charged last week with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
Floyd’s family has called for those charges to be upgraded and for charges also to be filed against three other cops present at the scene.
