Revel cease activity in New York following series of crashes

Revel have disclosed that the New York riders – starting today, NYC service will be shut down until further notice.

The news was disclosed after a 32-year-old man died when he lost control of his Revel scooter and crashed in Queens around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday.

News Agency, CBS New York reporter Nina Kapur, 26, was killed July 18 when a Revel she was a passenger on accident in Brooklyn.

And also, on Saturday, a Revel driver and his passenger crashed into a pole in upper Manhattan.

This caused the Revel to announce the shutting down of their services in New York City.

Revel Tweet Reads;

“New York riders – starting today, NYC service will be shut down until further notice. We’re reviewing and strengthening our rider accountability and safety measures and communicating with city officials, and we look forward to serving you again in the near future.”
