Deivi Garcia, was at ease when he confidently worked through the Mets lineup, striking out six and walking none. The right hander seized making an effect in just four singles while displaying fastball that topped out at 94 mph and a 12-6 curveball.

“I just wanted to take the opportunities to practice as seriously as possible, tell myself I was pitching in The Bronx although I was far away”, he also added “I wanted to make it feel that I was in an actual game. I think it worked out very well for me.”

Garcia could be back to pitch in Friday’s doubleheader.
